Cookie Policy
This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by this website and distinguishes them from services that load only after you follow an external link.
Effective and last updated:
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and other identifiers. Under the LSSI-CE, non-essential cookies or similar technologies generally require clear information and prior consent.
2. Current verified configuration
Based on the current application source and configuration, this website does not set application cookies, use browser storage, or automatically load analytics, advertising, social-media feeds, booking widgets, or embedded Google Maps content.
The previous embedded Google Maps frame has been replaced with a normal external link. Google Maps loads only if you choose to follow that link.
| Technology or provider | Category | Current behavior | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Almas Brasileiras application | Application cookies and browser storage | None set by the application | Not applicable |
| Contact-form rate limit | Strictly necessary server-side security record; not a cookie | Created only when the contact endpoint is used and derived from the request IP | Redis: 10 minutes; in-memory fallback: up to about 15 minutes |
| Google Maps | External third-party service | No embed; loads only after the user follows the external map link | Controlled by Google after the link is followed |
| Analytics and advertising | Analytics or marketing | No verified tools load automatically | Not applicable |
3. Language selection
The selected language is part of the page URL, for example /en, /es, /pt, /fr, or /zh. The application does not use a language cookie or browser storage to remember this choice.
4. Strictly necessary technologies
Hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary technical measures when required to deliver or protect the service. These measures are not used by Almas Brasileiras for audience measurement or advertising. Server-side request logs may also be generated by infrastructure providers according to their own retention controls.
5. Analytics, marketing, and consent
No non-essential cookies or similar technologies are currently verified as loading automatically. On that basis, a consent banner is not currently presented. Browser controls do not replace consent where consent is legally required.
If analytics, marketing, an embedded Cal.com booking widget, a Behold-powered Instagram feed, or another non-essential integration is introduced, it will be assessed before activation. Where required, it will remain blocked until the user gives prior consent, and this inventory and the available controls will be updated.
6. External links and intended providers
The website contains normal links to services such as Google Maps, Instagram, Linktree, ClassPass, Canva, and timeanddate.com. These providers do not receive a request merely because the link appears on the page; their sites load when you choose to follow a link, and their own privacy and cookie policies then apply.
A Cal.com booking link and a Behold Instagram feed are intended possibilities, but no Cal.com URL or active Behold integration is currently verified. This policy does not claim that either service is active or that any particular vendor cookie is present.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary technology may affect service operation. Browser settings are useful controls, but they do not remove the website operator’s duty to obtain consent before using non-essential technology when the law requires it.
8. Changes and contact
This policy will be reviewed when the website’s technology or providers change. Questions about the current inventory can be sent to the contact address below.
